Etho-Pro is a pre-emergent herbicide used for the control unwelcome grass varieties in both Rye-grass and Tall Fescue Turf lawns, particularly Winter Grass (Poa Annua).

Used For:

Pre-emergent herbicides like Etho-Pro control seedling weeds as they germinate and thus prevent establishment. Post-emergent herbicides selectively control weeds once they are established in the crop. Therefore, Etho-Pro is not as effective on established Poa Annua. It is very effective in preventing new Poa Annua coming through.

It is suitable for Rye Grass and Tall Fescue lawns but may kill other varieties like Fine Fescue. If you are unsure of the grass variety in your lawn, test a small infected area before applying to the entire lawn.

It has minimal withholding period so you can seed within a day of spraying.`

While the Etho-Pro may assist in killing well established Poa Annua, it may only be effectively removed by spot spraying with Knockdown Herbicide or digging the grass out at the roots.

If broad leaf weeds exist, use Broadsword herbicide If the lawn is completely overtaken with these pest grasses you may need to kill the entire lawn with Glyphosate Herbicide
