Product Information
Mortar sand is river sand of an aggregate size that has been crushed, washed and screened. It is a clean graded sand, cement and plasticiser proportioned to give an ideal spreadable and workable mortar. Courser than dune sand. Also known as Concrete Sand.
Used For:
Ideal for all types of masonry, brick and stone work. Used as drainage mortar and cementing any pre-cast concrete, brick or block. Also suitable as a base layer and levelling medium for patios, above ground pools or walkways with concrete paving stones.The preferred option for children’s sand pits as it is fine clean river sand. Great for sand castles when damp!
